We are looking for a person with good front-end web design skills and some experience of building mobile friendly web sites and applications to be based in our Birmingham office. We have 4 core on-line products/ services which we would like to redesign the front end user interface.We want to improve the user’s experience of the 4 Log Books. This role will be split across 3 areas, primary focus being on front-end design, some time doing back-end development and some time supporting the rest of the team on support, typically responding to email support issues.
We are looking for a self starter who is designed focused, who demonstrates a positive attitude towards the user experience and is self critical. You will be a team player and work within a small but growing business on a number of different projects. The right person will be a passionate about the user’s experience of web sites and applications and the service we provide to our customers.
The role will involve you working directly with our clients, understanding their needs, working with end-users in focus groups and even getting involved in secure user-group environment as we develop our digital champions network.
